Data Analyst Intern

Your Team:
The Analytics & Program Support Team is part of the CTO Office providing state-of-the-art analytics and reporting related to Program Management and Engineering efficiency. Our focus areas are projected benchmarking as well as data integrity and automation of reporting. One of our projects is to harmonize reporting by providing standard building blocks of data that can be used in Power Bi reports enabling consistent reporting across the company. The team is located in Nijmegen and Eindhoven working closely together with experts in the US.
Internship:
The Internship is to plan and run a migration project from proprietary data sets to our standard building blocks for Resource and Project Management related Power BI reports of different groups across NXP.
Your responsibilities:
Make an inventory of current Resource Allocation and Tracking reports of different parts of NXP
Identify gaps between currently used data sets and standard building blocks
Make a migration plan to standard building blocks in alignment with the report owners
Migrate and release new PowerBi reports based on standard building blocks
Provide related documentation.

Your profile:
Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Information Science, Data Science, Data Engineering or similar studies
Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
Structural way-of-working with interest for the detail
Pro-active, open-minded and flexible person
Experience with or willingness to learn on MS Office (Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience with Power BI or similar visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau)
Programming skills in VBA or DAX or scripting (e.g. Python)
Duration:
The duration of the internship will be a minimum of 6 months (40h/week) and will take place in NXP Nijmegen or fully/partially in-home office.
