Because of new regulation, Sports betting at Nederlandse Loterij is experiencing huge growth as we now offer InPlay betting for the first time. The coming years will therefore see great changes & challenges in the Dutch Market and you can be part of it.

The Sport trading team of the Nederlandse Loterij is very successful. Therefore we are currently seeking an ambitious Sports Trader or Junior Sports Trader to join our team in the Netherlands. Together with the other 13 traders in the TOTO team, you will be responsible for trading a number of sports, both Prematch & InPlay. Football will be the most important sport, but we are involved in a growing list of other sports as well. As a Sports Trader you will be compiling odds & managing liabilities as well as:

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring prices and controlling liabilities - PreMatch & Inplay
• Manual creation of special markets
• Effectively profiling the customer base
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on performance
• Ensuring we are offering as many InPlay & Streaming events through 3rd party providers as possible
• Anti-fraud implementation & adherence to RG guidelines
• Competitor analysis to ensure TOTO is offering an up to date & full offering in-line with customer expectations & therefore remain as the Number 1 Dutch Sportsbook
• Monitor website content & product

• Major interest in sports & understanding of the betting industry
• Analytical, logical & possess mathematical skills
• Strong work ethic is a must
• Ability to work calmly & efficiently under pressure & process important decisions in a matter of seconds
• Fluency in English a must + being a Dutch resident is advantageous
• Flexible attitude towards working shifts as weekend & evening work will be the norm
• Previous experience in iGaming & Trading is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
• Attention to detail, flexibility and initiative are imperative. You are a team player and able to work well with others as good teamwork is critical.

• A good salary depending on experience. Junior Sports Trader: Between €3.400,- and €4.600,- gross per month. Sports Trader: between €3.700,- and €5.100,- gross per month.
• You might be eligible for the 30% rule. This makes it possible to provide you with 30% of your wage tax-free. This facility is known as the 30%-facility. And is granted or denied by the Belastingdienst. You can check their website to see if you qualify;
• Full-time employment with 27.5 days of leave.
