Become a Courier at DHL Express in Den Hoorn

What are you going to do:

As a package delivery driver at DHL, you'll be part of the Express team, dedicated to lightning-fast global deliveries within 24 hours. Your mission is to delight customers with excellent service. 

You start your day by discussing the day ahead with your team and then scanning packages together. Afterwards, it's up to you to decide how to plan your route. Do you follow the recommended route, or do you prefer to choose the fastest way yourself? The choice is yours! You will deliver packages in and around The Hague, Rotterdam, and Delft.

Once your van is loaded, you're ready to set off. You deliver packages to both residential and business customers, and you also regularly pick up packages to return to the distribution center. As a representative of DHL, you're always ready to assist customers, answer their questions, and help them with administrative tasks such as checking customs documents and arranging required paperwork for international shipments. You will also follow a training that is fully covered and provided by DHL. In your first weeks, you will attend this three-day (CIS) training in Amersfoort. 

With a varied workday where traffic, weather conditions, and unexpected route adjustments can play a role, your flexibility and ability to respond quickly are invaluable. In short, as a courier at DHL, you're not just a delivery person, but a true hero on the road! 

Work Days and Hours

As a courier with DHL Express in Den Hoorn, you will work a minimum of 24 hours per week and be available at least 3 days a week. Your working days are between Monday and Friday, with Friday being a mandatory day. 

There are two different shifts:

Morning/afternoon: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Afternoon/evening: 12:30 PM - 8:30/9:00 PM

The working hours from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM are for experienced couriers and from 12:30 PM - 8:30 PM for beginner couriers. When applying, consider what suits you best.
