About the vacancy:
It is winter 2017. The first Pillows Hotels opens next to the Vondelpark in Amsterdam. The concept where everything really revolves around the guest works. Within one year we are in the top-5 of hotels in Amsterdam on TripAdvisor. All hotels of the group following achieve high rankings and are mentioned in the Bib Gourmand and GaultMillau.
In the summer of 2022, we opened our sixth hotel. With this 5-star hotel at the Oosterpark in Amsterdam, the ambitions are high. That’s why we are looking for colleagues with talent, who only want to belong to the best, including a bartender / mixologist for our cocktail bar.
What are you going to do?
Imagine: an elegant and atmospheric cocktail bar with a Cuban vibe, including a rum library and a bar completely made from wood for our show-stopping cocktail shakers. The reason guests love coming here has everything to do with the people who work there. They perfectly sense the needs of the guests, and their presence adds value to the night.
At Fitz's Bar, you will work both as a bartender and as a host, so you can both make the best cocktails behind the bar, but also share your knowledge and advice at the guest's table.
Entree magazine named Fitz's Bar as best new cocktail bar. Bartender Nick Vrielink won gold at the World Cocktail Championship 2023 in Rome, an event of the International Bartenders Association. These recognitions, among others, set the bar high. We strive to maintain this level if not exceed it. So are you the enthusiastic and ambitious bartender we are looking for?
What do you get?
