The Housekeeping Turndown Agent is responsible for providing evening housekeeping services to ensure guest rooms are prepared for a comfortable night's rest. This includes tidying the room, replenishing supplies, and creating a welcoming ambiance. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Perform evening turndown service, including:
- Turning down the bed, arranging pillows, and placing decorative items.
- Emptying trash bins and replacing liners.
- Refreshing towels and bathroom amenities.
- Replenishing room supplies, such as water, snacks, and toiletries.
- Tidying up the room, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Ensure all guest requests and preferences are met with attention to detail.
- Check for and report any maintenance issues or damage in the guest rooms.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly and courteously responding to guest inquiries and requests.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to hotel policies.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their safe usage.
