As a production technician you will:
- Fabricate various UAV components using materials like sheet metals, fittings, composites, electronics, and plastics, involving tasks such as drilling, sealing, welding, wiring, and connecting components based on specifications
- Assemble, integrate, and install UAV components and systems following work instructions and engineering Looking for a hands-on role in a high-tech environment? As a Production Technician, you'll be drawings, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic system integration into the UAV airframe
- Perform quality checks autonomously at different production stages, following quality guidelines to ensure components and subsystems meet specifications, and address any defects or discrepancies
- Conduct tests and calibration on UAV systems to verify their performance and functionality, testing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and assemblies
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with UAV systems, repairing or replacing faulty components to ensure proper functionality
- Register and maintain records of manufacturing processes, assembly procedures, quality inspections, repairs, and document any modifications or repairs made to UAV systems
- Identify and implement process improvements by collaborating with team leads and engineers to enhance manufacturing efficiency and optimize production workflows
- Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations, following safety protocols throughout the manufacturing process
