What are you going to do:

Are you a passionate swimming instructor who loves to teach others swimming? Then this part-time position in Amsterdam is the opportunity for you! As a swimming instructor, you will give swimming lessons to (international) students of various levels. You monitor the safety of swimmers and ensure that everyone can enjoy learning to swim. You create lesson plans and schedules, supervise swimming activities and events, and communicate with parents and guardians about their children's progress and safety.

You have excellent swimming techniques and skills, and you love sharing your knowledge about water safety with students. Patience and communication are your strengths, allowing you to guide students at their own pace. With an MBO4-level education or equivalent, you are the perfect addition to this team. Do you speak another language besides Dutch and English? That’s a bonus! Even if you're not fluent in Dutch, you are welcome at this swim school. It’s important, however, that you are available from Tuesday to Friday between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

What we offer:

• A competitive monthly salary between € 2,409 and € 3,267 based on a full-time position;
• An annual staff outing and a Christmas gift package;
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer, with full reimbursement for public transport;
• A 25% bonus on hours worked on Saturdays;
• Additional bonuses for overtime;
• 6 weeks of vacation per year, divided into 2 weeks during the summer vacation, 2 weeks at Christmas, and 2 weeks during the spring break
