De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.

We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to make sure all of our guests leave with a bright smile.

What will you be doing?
● You will be responsible to manage the F&B team together with your colleague supervisors and the Restaurant Manager.
● Maintain an exquisite guest service, and lead staff to do the same. Up-selling all menu items to maximize food & beverage revenue, and being able to resolve any guest compliment within a professional manner.
● Additionally, you will be the one who will provide guidance, training and the right examples to motivate the team.
● Accomplish change, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to achieve improvement.
● Consistent achievement of the service standards and quality.
● You follow all the safety and security policies and procedures of the company.
● Complete opening and/or closing duties.
Small print:
● You have 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel.
● You have a kind knowledge of all F&B standards, service, and products. You’re able to demonstrate hygiene codes correctly and are able to show safe us of all materials/equipment.
● Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays
● You speak English fluently
● You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
