Job Description

For our International Kitchen Team we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef. In Hilton Amsterdam we offer 7 days a week a breakfast buffet with extra a la carte options for the guests. Within this position, your main tasks will be:

·         Setting up & maintaining buffet up to Hilton standards

·         Efficiently prepare à la carte orders based on guest requests

·         Organize and prepare mise en place based on expected guest volume

·         Manage inventory by placing orders and ensuring par levels are consistently met

·         Following the latest HACCP regulations, ensuring food safety and cleanliness at all times

·         Monitor and control food waste, implementing practices to minimize loss and maximize efficiency

·         Being up to date of the latest kitchen trends

·         Participate in training courses

Requirements

·         You are an earlybird and can start working from 05:00 am

·         In possession of General cooking knowledge

·         In possession of general product knowledge

·         Has general awareness of common allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring safe meal preparation.

·         Passion & creativity

·         Service oriented

·         Have a keen eye for detail and consistency in your work.

·         Fluent in English

·         Flexible and available to work weekends as needed.
