HR Administrator in Amsterdam

At The Vincent Hotel Group we are looking for an HR Administrator in addition to our HR department. As the HR Coordinator you are part of our HR team at the support office (Amsterdam). The team consist of the HR Director Moniek, she is ultimately responsible for all HR related matters. Renil, our HR Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day business and Moniek’ s right-hand woman. You, our HR Administrator, are the first point of contact for all TVHG colleagues and managing the administrative process from starters to leavers and everything in-between.



It is a challenging cluster role for 11 hotels in the Netherlands, each with franchise contracts with brands such as Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Hampton by Hilton. At TVHG we are looking for friendly, hospitable and astute employees who are full of energy! Employees who can focus on what the guest and colleagues really consider important. This function is available for 25 – 30 hours per week.



In this role, you will ensure high levels of effectiveness, communication and more importantly, maintain a pleasant work environment. Our ideal hire will own the execution of day-to-day HR activities to keep our people's data accurate and up-to-date, directly impacting the experience of employees or managers and ensuring that business runs smoothly – creating a sustainable environment for future growth. Processing the monthly payroll can also be part of your duties as an HR Administrator, if you are interested in this and want to learn.



Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Making employer statements, contracts, offers
  • Writing vacancy texts
  • Recruiting potential employees
  • Maintaining personnel files
  • Managing the general HR mailbox
  • Preparing and coordinating the exit process
  • Support the training program
  • Setting up HR & Payroll-related projects / Active role in the payroll processing
  • Advising managers, if necessary
  • Coordinating the monthly payroll process for all staff of the eleven hotels with the related internal and external parties, such as General Managers and our external payroll partner. Checking all pay slips
  • Maintaining the various HR systems such as the time registration system, salary processing system, assessment system, sick leave portal and recruitment channel
  • Preparing and coordinating the leavers process
  • Organising and attending various social events such as: staff party, Sinterklaas event and Christmas party

Job requirements


  • MBO work and thinking level
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both in spoken and written
  • In this function you have to work with confidential information. You know how to do this properly.
  • Knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel
  • Team player
  • You are structured, accurate and professional in your work
