Are you a creative and detail-oriented pastry professional eager to bring unique and delicious creations to life? Join our team as Chef de Partie Pastry at Pulitzer Amsterdam and Kimpton de Witt, where your skills will shine in an inspiring and collaborative environment. From producing exquisite desserts to supporting the seamless operation of our pastry department, this role offers the perfect mix of creativity and structure.
Your Role in Our Story:
- Prepare and ensure the mise en place for all outlets at Pulitzer Amsterdam.
- Plate pastries and desserts for events, meetings, and restaurant services.
- Collaborate with the centralized pastry team at Kimpton de Witt, assisting with production as needed.
- Maintain high hygiene standards, adhering to HACCP and other safety protocols.
- Contribute creatively by suggesting improvements to recipes and presentation.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 12 months of experience in a similar pastry role, preferably in a dynamic and high-quality kitchen.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including HACCP standards.
- Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Energetic, detail-oriented, and creative, with a proactive and flexible attitude.
- Ability to adapt to different shifts and work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
