GKN Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker Aerospace, is a recognized specialist in landing gear and related systems. They focus on the design and development, production and assembly of complete landing gears, as well as the repair and reassembly of systems already in use. In doing so, they work on the most famous aircraft and helicopters; think of the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35, the multipurpose NH90 maritime combat helicopter and MQ-9 Reaper.

Functie

As an MRO Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining aircraft components, mostly landing gear related. Your tasks include:

• Disassembling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, and modifying components.
• Performing interim and final inspections.
• Supervising customer product acceptance.
• Preparing and processing deviation reports within set frameworks.
• Accurately recording data in logbooks and quality reports.
• Actively contributing to process improvements.

Functie-eisen

You are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for quality. Additionally, you have:

• Experience with inspection, maintaining, assembly and/or production of landing gears or similar aircraft components.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a precise working style.
• Proficiency in technical English and basic knowledge of Office programs.
