Are YOU a fixer of all things, a problem-solving pro, and the master of keeping things running smoothly? If so, we need YOU! As the Head of Maintenance, you'll be the hero behind the scenes, making sure our guests experience a hassle-free stay while keeping our hotel in top shape.

The Head of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the 2 hotels (Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam – Arena Towers) ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems are in optimal working condition. This role requires proactive planning, effective team management, and adherence to safety regulations to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a rock-solid preventive maintenance plan to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely manner — because surprises are only fun at birthday parties!

· Coordinate with external companies for major repairs and installations.

· Maintain an inventory of necessary tools & equipment’s

· Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all hotel facilities are in excellent working conditions

· Lead and train the maintenance team

· Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and front desk, to address maintenance-related concerns and ensure smooth hotel operations.

· Responsible for Fire, Life & Safety
